GLAS opens German location with Schalast

Schalast assisted Global Loan Agency Services (GLAS) group in the opening its office in Frankfurt am Main to further support its expanding business within Germany.

GLAS is a pioneer in the independent, non-bank loan agency and corporate trustee marketplace, with an experienced team of over 120 loan and bond market professionals. GLAS has a single, global platform with headquarters in London and additional offices in Paris, New York, New Jersey, Sydney and Brisbane. With managed assets amounting to over EUR 107 billion, GLAS is steadily expanding its market presence with this new European milestone.

Schalast comprehensively assisted GLAS in the incorporation of a German subsidiary and a German branch, in Banking transactional matters, in regulatory and compliance aspects, in labour law questions and in tax aspects.
