Julia Gimbel provides consulting services for credit, financial services, and securities institutions, as well as capital management firms on regulatory issues, for example in conjunction with preparing supervisory law and statistical notifications and reports according to the KWG, WpIG, CRR and AWV, as well as corresponding processes, controls, and specialist concepts. In addition to matters related to regulatory reporting and disclosures under supervisory law, her consulting also focuses on the design of products and transactions to optimize equity backing and liquidity. Furthermore, she has comprehensive expertise in the areas of outsourcing, remediation planning, and founding and developing companies regulated under financial market supervision. Her work also focuses on implementing regulatory requirements for banking organization. She has many years of expertise in auditing compliance with regulatory requirements related to annual and consolidated financial statements at institutions subject to the EZB and BaFin.

Julia Gimbel studied business administration, with a focus on “banking, controlling, and financial accounting” at Saarland University. After receiving her degree, she worked in the financial services sector at an international auditing firm (big four) and at a mid-sized corporate consulting firm.
