Kristof Schnitzler, LL.M.

Kristof Schnitzler is a lawyer, notary (office: Frankfurt am Main) and partner at Schalast. Within the scope of his legal practice, he advises on all corporate law issues, with a particular focus on stock corporation law. In addition, he is active in the area of M&A/venture capital across all sectors, both on the side of private equity houses, but also for company founders. As a notary, Kristof assists clients in all areas where notarial advice is required, but especially in corporate law and real estate law.

Biography

Kristof Schnitzler, born in Bedburg/Erft, studied law at the University of Cologne and focused during his studies on product liability and insurance law and the areas corporate and M&A. In 2008, Kristof Schnitzler successfully completed his training as a specialist lawyer for commercial and company law. Kristof Schnitzler earned a Master of Laws Degree in M&A (LL.M.) at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in 2013.

Kristof Schnitzler’s legal training included internships at a long-established German law firm in Cologne and an international law firm in San Francisco, USA. Kristof Schnitzler also worked for a British industrial insurer in the area of general insurance law, product liability law and pharmaceutical liability law.  

From 2007 to 2012, Kristof Schnitzler worked at a renowned commercial law firm in Düsseldorf. Kristof Schnitzler has worked for Schalast & Partner since 2012 in the areas Corporate and M&A.

Kristof Schnitzler primarily advises clients in the area of company law, with a special focus on stock corporation law. In the area of M&A, Kristof Schnitzler predominantly advises private equity companies. Kristof Schnitzler also advises both investors and founders in the area venture capital. He is a member of the practice group “Corporate/M&A”.

Kristof Schnitzler is also an officially appointed notary (Official residence: Frankfurt am Main).
