Sarah Scherer, LL.M.

Sarah Scherer advises on banking law matters, in particular capital markets law, and regularly represents clients in proceedings before civil and administrative courts. She advises and represents banks, insurance companies and securities issuers in complex disputes with clients and investors as well as with national and European supervisory authorities.

Sarah Scherer has been admitted to the bar in 2019 and completed the part-time Master of Financial Law at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in 2022, where she graduated as Master of Laws (LL.M.) in 2022.

Sarah Scherer spent several months working in the litigation practice group of a major US law firm in Philadelphia and New York as part of an international secondment. She gained in-house experience during her studies and legal traineeship. Before joining Schalast Law | Tax, Sarah Scherer worked for almost two years as a research assistant in the legal department of a development bank. She focussed on banking supervisory law and board advisory services. She also worked in the legal department of a Franco-German financial group.
