In addition to its involvement in universities, such as the Frankfurt School, Schalast is now actively involved in the sponsoring group of the Research Center for Pharmaceutical Law at the Philipps University of Marburg.

This support is particularly meaningful for Schalast partner Katja Hoos, who studied law with a focus on medical and pharmaceutical law at the Philipps University of Marburg and is now actively involved in student work.

"As an alumna of the university and the focus area, I have a very special connection to Philipps-Universität Marburg. It is therefore a matter close to my heart to support the students and show them what they can expect in the exciting healthcare and life sciences sector," explained Katja Hoos.

 Schalast promoting young talents

The combination of science and practice has always been a top priority at Schalast. Many of the firm's partners and other lawyers, including Prof. Dr. Schalast and Prof. Dr. Andreas Walter, are lecturers at various universities and welcome speakers at events.

About the sponsoring group of the Research Center for Pharmaceutical Law at the Philipps University of Marburg

The central concerns of the sponsoring group are, on one hand, the networking of graduates of the additional qualification and the Master's course with practitioners and, on the other hand, the support of research and teaching in pharmaceutical law.

The annual meetings at the "Marburg Talks on Pharmaceutical Law" or on the occasion of the awarding of certificates as well as the monthly newsletter, the "Marburg Letters on Pharmaceutical Law", contribute to networking.

By providing financial resources, they also support the payment of employees who organize the additional qualification and arrange internships. This means that the additional qualification is free of charge for the students.
